It is our pleasure to welcome the youngest member of our Chamber family - Ethan Wesley Moreno!
Diana and Julian Moreno (Web Design Pilot) welcomed their second son Ethan on Tuesday, November 19th, 2:28pm, at Mission Viejo Hospital.
Ethan was born a healthy 8lbs, 6oz and 20.5 inches long, with all 10 beautiful fingers and 10 cute toes and a full head of hair. Ethan's older brother Aiden is super happy to have a little brother to play with.
We take this moment to again congratulate the Moreno family on "our" new Chamber addition and thank Diana (who serves on the Ambassador Committee and is the Communications Committee assistant) for all of her "labors " of love on behalf of the Chamber and her fellow members!
Please enjoy this brief video taken by Mission Viejo Chamber Director, Ambassador and Communications Committee Chair, John Rodriguez (iFinance Mortgage).
We wholeheartedly THANK all of our Chamber volunteers who donated many hours of their time serving as Directors, Committee members, CEO and Executive Assistant and working on special projects in 2019!
There is still much more positive work to be accomplished and we are very excited that "The Volunteer Spirit is Alive (and at an all-time high) Moving into 2020"!

The Chamber Board Committees have been formed to provide structure in order to help the Chamber accomplish many necessary tasks and functions. All committees are coordinated by a Board Chair and comprised of volunteer members who work diligently on behalf of the general membership.
Our current Chamber Board Committees include: Ambassadors, Communications, Community Affairs, Events, and Membership. More information will be forthcoming regarding the Community Affairs and Membership committees.
If you would like more information on how to volunteer for a committee, please send an email to the Chamber Board Committee Chair listed on the webpage or speak directly with them at an upcoming event.
And, yes, Chamber Ambassadors have lots of fun as they attend and support various events with their fellow members (enjoy a few pictures below).
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our various Chamber Board Committees and what they are responsible for. Please click here to be directed to our Chamber Board Committees webpage.
On October 12th, Chamber member, AAUW Mission Viejo-Saddleback Valley (American Association of University Women) gathered to celebrate their 40 year anniversary!
This event honored the founders and past-presidents dedicated to advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.
Pictured below are AAUW Mission Viejo-Saddleback Valley members Marcia Milchiker and Kathie Youmans with the City of Mission Viejo Mayor, Greg Raths. Fun time honoring the charter members and past presidents over 40 years!
Congratulations again and thank you to Chamber "Ambassador of the Quarter", Joan Bornstein (Joan Bornstein Real Estate), for submitting this exciting news to us!
On Thursday, October 10th, attendees gathered at the YTEL building in Lake Forest for our final Tri-Chamber Mixer. This mixer was hosted by the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce.
As attendees came through the front doors, they were warmly greeted by all three Chambers (Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and RSM) and kindly directed to first take a fun photo with Takata Photo & Design and then make their way to the meet n greet areas where the food, beverages, opportunity drawing prizes, and Chamber tables were located.
It was so refreshing observing the three Chambers interacting and sharing contact information to be used at a later time. The City Mayors were also on hand to support this special event, along with Board members and Ambassadors from each Chamber.

We look forward to announcing our 2020 Tri-Chamber Mixers in the very near future!
Congratulations to Elizabeth Elsanadi (Century 21/Kaufman Property Group), winner of the "Special Recognition Award"! We take this moment to acknowledge her hard work and extra efforts on behalf of her fellow Chamber members.
Elizabeth has been a valued Chamber member since July 2018 and has really "dove head-first" into the volunteer spirit by serving on both the Ambassador and Communications Committees. She is already a very busy realtor and yet, still gives of what little extra time she has, to serve her fellow Chamber members.
Elizabeth is highly visible at each Chamber event and networking opportunity. She regularly reaches out to her assigned Ambassador members to remind them to benefit from various Chamber activities.
As one of the Communications Committee members, perhaps Elizabeth is best known for her "paparazzi" skills and capturing key people moments at events such as our weekly Daybreakers Networking Breakfast, Ribbon Cuttings, Monthly Mixers, Happy Hours, and Chamber Mobs, and more. Then she spends time posting these amazing key moments to our social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) (we also thank Diana Moreno for handling our LinkedIn posts). Over the last few months, nearly 100 posts has been created on behalf of the Chamber!
We say thank you again, Elizabeth, for working so hard on behalf of your fellow Chamber members!
